Hey! Curious about my background?

I began working in mental health in 2015 supporting adults with severe mental illnesses where they were no longer able to live independently or do activities required for daily living.

I continued this work up until my deployment as a Lieutenant in the Army Reserves in 2019-2020. During COVID-19 I began my work as a Master’s student, while working in a school for individuals with ADHD, ASD and other neurodevelopmental diagnoses. During this time, I also worked as a mental health crisis specialist.

I graduated from New York University with my Masters in 2022, and began working in a group therapy practice as an associate-level counselor full-time. In 2025 I became independently licensed to work as a provider in Delaware and Pennsylvania.

Today, I own my own practice and continue to see individuals in person in my Philadelphia office, and provide virtual sessions for those in Delaware.

I foster a belief that wellness is a holistic concept, encompassing emotional, physical and social well-being. I use a collaborative and strength-based approach with my clients in order to help my clients flourish. I start sessions by establishing a strong alliance with each client.

I work with a variety of individuals, and in sessions I use direct communication, humor (when appropriate) and make sure to help explain “the why” and “the how” of things, in order to help make life challenges, less challenging. I believe in the “teach someone how to fish” approach of therapy, so you have the skills to adapt to life stressors in the long run. (I would love to put myself out of a job one day.)

I offer individual therapy sessions to adults. I work well with adults of all ages. I find high achieving individuals interested in pursuing a career in healthcare, education, and first responders make up the majority of my caseload. Typically, individuals come in experiencing anxiety, burnout, imposter syndrome, depression, and other life adjustments.

I have experience working in a variety of mental health settings, such as rehabilitation centers, hospitals, day programs, and school settings. Additionally, I have a military background, and deeply value working with military individuals, first responders, and their families. I have worked with adults who have been diagnosed with anxiety disorders, depression, adjustment problems, trauma, grief, ADHD, and more. In the past, I have worked with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual and physical disabilities as well. Today, I focus on working with caregivers to children. I work with clients of various ages, genders, races, ethnicities, sexual orientation, and national origin.

I do my best to ensure that the therapeutic setting will be warm, understanding, and safe in order to facilitate insightful therapy. I believe in the power of humor in sessions, while also implementing a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities such as mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy, and other approaches that will work for you specifically.

Typically, people begin to notice to feel a difference after about a month of weekly sessions with me.
